A lovely addition to the Geometry Collection, this elegantly simple, oxidized sterling silver rectangle necklace is hand fabricated, textured and gilded with 23K gold using the Keum Boo technique. what is Keum Boo? Contemporary but bold, classic but distinct.
What is Keum Boo? An ancient gilding technique where thin layers of 24 karat gold are diffusion bonded to the fine silver using a miniature kiln, where silver is heated to approximately 650-850 degrees, This creates a permanent bond between the silver and gold.
Pendant measures: 1 1/4 " L x 1 5/8" W and is suspended from an 18", oxidized rolo chain using a detachable bail so the chain could also be used separately.
