Pendant is oxidized and measures: 2.75" L x1"W x3/8"D. Pendant hangs from a triple strand of diamond cut chain and measures 16-17.5" L (adjustable).
Keum Boo is achieved by heating depleted sterling silver or fine silver over a hot kiln at approximately 700 degree. Once the piece is sufficiently heated 24 karat gold is applied and burnished with a steel burnisher or hard stone, like an agate, to create a permanent diffusion bond on the surface of the silver.
Note: Pendant does not need polished or cleaned as oxidation was used to further highlight the gold. Simply wipe clean with a cloth if needed and do not submerge in harsh chemicals as this will damage the stone and the Keum Boo.
